Transfer Center

Spartanburg Medical Center's Transfer Center is staffed by a registered nurse 24 hours a day, 一周7天. Please 呼叫 us with any patient placement needs. We will collect the patient's pertinent information, including diagnosis and type of bed required based on the physician's order. We will obtain a bed assignment as soon as possible and notify the office and/or patient.

The Transfer Center at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System provides referring facilities with one contact number for assistance with the transfer process. We are prepared to respond to all your transfer needs including, but not limited to, the following medical emergencies:

We will facilitate communication between the referring physician and a Spartanburg Regional physician. Once an accepting physician is obtained, the Transfer Center will provide the needed information to the originating facility.

If the physician in your office needs to talk to a physician in the hospital regarding a patient who needs to be admitted, we can facilitate a conference 呼叫 between them. Once the decision to admit is made by the accepting physician, no additional 呼叫s to secure a bed are needed.
